Ed2Go Instructor Facilitated Online Courses

Take all the courses from the comfort of your office at times that are most convenient for you. New sections start monthly, run for six weeks and are composed of 12 lessons, representing 24 or more hours of instruction. Courses are project-oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas, supplementary links and more. Ask questions and give or receive advice at any time during the course.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be able to download a Certificate of Completion from ed2go.

How to Get Started

Requirements:

All courses require internet access, e-mail, a Web browser (like Internet Explorer, Foxfire, etc). Some courses may have additional requirements. Please visit our Online Instructor Center for more information.

  1. Visit the ed2go Online Instruction Center:  www.ed2go.com/witc
  2. Click the Orientation link and follow the instructions to choose, enroll and pay** for your course.  Learn additional information about your course as well as choose the name and password you will use to access your course.
  3. When your course starts, return to the ed2go Online Instruction Center and click the classroom link to login with your name and password.

** Note:  All payments must be made online with a major credit card.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q.  Am I taking a course from WITC or through another provider?
A.  You are taking these non-credit courses through ed2go, a division of Thompson Learning, a highly regarded leader in educational services. This is not a WITC class, so it will not be included on your 1098T. If you go to active duty, WITC is not responsible for remission of tuition for ed2go courses.

Q. Will ed2go classes appear on my WITC transcripts?
A.  No, ed2go classes will not appear on WITC transcripts. You can obtain a letter of completion from ed2go. The classes will not transfer to a WITC credit or noncredit program.

Q.  Do I need my own special software?
A.  If you are taking a computer software applications class, you must have the appropriate software package loaded on your PC. The software must be installed in order to participate in these classes as they are interactive, not tutorials. Check the requirements and complete course descriptions for the courses you are interested in or at our Web site:  http://www.ed2go.com/witc  and click on "Orientation". The orientation must be completed at least two days prior to the start of class.

Q.  Do I need to be online when the lessons are released?
A.  The lessons are released at noon each Wednesday and Friday.

Q.  What if I have a question?
A.  An interactive discussion area accompanies all lessons. When you need assistance with a lesson, post your question or inquiry in the appropriate course discussion area. The instructors, his/her teaching assistant, or your fellow students will respond.

Q.  When can I access my lessons?
A.  The lessons are available 24 hours a day, every day.

Q.  How do I submit my assignments?
A.  Everything is done online. All questions and quizzes will be completed and submitted online.

Q.  How much does each course cost?
A.  Most courses cost $79.
